Ayr Public Library

Hello one and all. Last night I did a reading at the Ayr Public Library to promote Bessie and the place was packed. This is due, in larTalk about shockedge part, to a rural farming community that has enthusiastically supported my trilogy "A Woman of Good Standing." And all of those good folks who actually showed up.

Talk about shocked

I love doing my crazy dinosaur face. :-) But what I loved even more was talking about creating Bessie and explaining the process of writing to a very curious crowd. 

I came to the event thinking I was only to speak about Bessie, but then the crowd wanted to talk about Maddy as well.

There was no time to panic so I had to quickly jog my noggin', hustle out to the car and grab a copy to read from.

And I sold one too!

I had one heck of a great time. I love the city and I love the country and I am one lucky gal to get to experience both.
