Hello one and all! Last week I did a reading at the New Hamburg Library. Very old school, which took me back a couple of decades, which I happen to like very much, since I remain a 20th century gal.
The crowd was slim, but the reading went well and I even got to see my old friend Elisabeth Feryn, who brought along her pal Connie. Now don't think that there were only two people, since we got about 8!
And afterwards it was off to the Scran and Dram for a Kilkenny with my partner Diana and some pals. Great time! Wonderful community! Here's to reading!!!!
You're going to get a much longer post from me this weekend, because I am off to Stratford this Friday to organize a staged reading from "Bessie," the first book of my "Woman of Good Standing" trilogy. I think I'm going to get to work with genuine Stratford actors which will be amazing. I sure hope I don't have to pay!!! Yikes!!
